Learn Who We Are

  • Covid - 19 Update

    Dear Valued Patients:

NRV Family & Sports Dentistry is open full speed for regular dental care.  Our office is following all of the recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

For the foreseeable future our office protocol is as follows:

We will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions.

When you arrive, please remain in your vehicle in the parking lot.  Please call us (540-552-2551) and let us know you have arrived. A member of our team will then come get you when it is time for your appointment.  We may also check your temperature before you enter the practice.

-We ask that you wear your own face mask or face covering when entering and exiting our office.

-We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.

-Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

-Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. You will be brought into the office and taken directly to your treatment room.

-Only the patient receiving treatment will be allowed into the office and into the treatment room.  We ask that anyone else with the patient being treated to remain in their vehicle.  One exception to this policy will be for small children receiving treatment – One parent/guardian will be allowed to accompany the child.

-We will be utilizing enhanced Personal Protective Equipment protocols (PPE).

-To aid in improving air quality within our practices even more, we have added multiple UV light air purifiers approved for clinical settings that eliminates pathogens and contaminants.

We look forward to seeing you again!  If you have any questions, please call (540-552-2551) or email us ([email protected]).
